This 5-day tour offers a comprehensive journey through Rwanda’s most iconic protected areas, including Akagera, Volcanoes, and Nyungwe National Parks. Day 1
Arrive at Kigali Airport, where you will be greeted and transferred to your lodge. If you arrive late, consider adding a pre-night stay in Kigali. After check-in, relax and enjoy dinner at the lodge.
After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Akagera National Park. Enjoy a morning game drive to spot wildlife, followed by a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Ihema. Return to the lodge for dinner and leisure time.
After breakfast, head to Volcanoes National Park for a gorilla trekking experience. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Iby’iwacu Cultural Village for insights into Rwandan culture. Dinner is included at the lodge.
Depart for Nyungwe National Park after breakfast. Enjoy a guided canopy walk and hike through the beautiful rainforest. Have lunch in the park and take in the stunning scenery. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner.
After breakfast, check out and visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial to learn about Rwanda’s history. Afterward, transfer back to Kigali Airport for your onward flight (please ensure your flight is not earlier than early afternoon). Contact us if you would like to extend your journey.
