Experience the awe of trekking mountain gorillas in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, one of the last remaining habitats of these majestic creatures. In addition to the gorilla encounter, this tour provides an opportunity to visit a local community project aimed at empowering residents through sustainable initiatives. By participating in this tour, you’ll directly contribute to improving livelihoods while gaining an understanding of the critical role local communities play in conservation efforts.
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to your lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. If you arrive late, consider adding a pre-night stay. After check-in, relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. Dinner is included, and you’ll have an early night in preparation for your trek.
After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing. You’ll set off on an unforgettable trek to see the mountain gorillas. Once you locate them, you will have one hour for observation. Return to the lodge for lunch, then visit a community project that empowers locals through sustainable practices. Dinner is included at the lodge.
Have breakfast before checking out. You will be transferred back to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight (please ensure your flight is not earlier than early afternoon). Feel free to reach out if you wish to extend your stay in Uganda.
